Our sponsored horse, Henry (Woodbuc Daiquiri's Promise), is a 10 year old Warmblood, who is owned by the family behind Premier Equestrian. He has some amazing breeding lines, his sire being the popular Flayne Don Daiquiri (Donerhall lines) and his Dam coming from the amazing Pro-Set line.

He is a very rewarding horse to train, and he tries so hard to please. As you can see, Henry is very talented and also has great scope for jumping. He is being given plenty of time to mature and has an occasional jump schooling session to add some fun to his routine. 

Henry is a huge character, and he already has quite a fan club.

Unfortunately, due to injury, Henry had some time off in 2019, followed by rehab in 2020 which was made difficult due to the Covid pandemic lockdown. Henry has done quite a lot of water treadmill therapy, and steady hacking to help build strength and fitness, and returned to full ridden work in Summer 2021, competing at some unaffiliated dressage competitions to get him used to going out and about to busy places again. He was an absolute star, and managed to win 2 overall championships in the Autumn 2021 dressage series. Watch this space for further updates on Henry's progress.
